The Analysis Region represents the geographical extents and granularity of the calculations performed by Overture. It also specifies the projection that should be used during calculation. By default, the analysis boundary is set automatically from the distribution of site locations.

The Zoom To Analysis Boundary Region toolbar button will zoom the map to the current analysis boundary:

Setting the Bin Size

The Bin Size property controls the resolution of the bins that Overture processes when it is calculating results. Increasing the Bin Size reduces the number of bins that must be processed, which can speed up calculation times.
