Simulation of the radio access network requires accurate signal propagation information. Overture supports a range of industry-standard propagation models and can be easily integrated with 3rd party products.

The native propagation models in Overture are all single path, empirical outdoor models. As a starting point, they take industry-standard models like COST231 and integrate them with the Presto prediction engine.

If RF signal measurements are available, the prediction models can be manually or automatically tuned to improve their accuracy. See Prediction Tuning for more information.
