This window shows the messages sent by various parts of the application. The log will be brought into view if any messages arrive that require your attention.

The context (right-click) menu allows you to save, copy or clear the contents of the log. It also allows you to apply a message filter, add system information, choose the scrolling behavior and whether long messages should be wrapped.
