The Serving Entity Map is used to visualize the serving area of the sites
and sectors.
Properties
The serving entity map has the following properties:
- Name. This is the name of the map, as it
appears in the map's
Layers
viewer.
- Cover Probability. This is a reference to
the
Probability
data source that provides the probability of coverage at each point.
- Entity Coloring. This is the
Coloring
that will be use to select colors for each serving entity.
- Probability Coloring. This can be set to
one of the following:
- Smooth. The transparency of the color chosen for each serving entity is determined
by the value of the Cover Probability data
source at each point. Areas with high cover probability are more opaque than areas
with lower cover probabilities.
- Threshold. The color of the best server is used at each point where the cover
probability is greater than the value of the Probability
Threshold property. All other areas are colored using the
Unset Color.
- Probability Threshold. When the Probability Coloring property is set to "Threshold",
this sets the cut-off point beyond which the Unset Color
will be applied.
- Serving Entity. This is a reference to the
Categorical
data source that provides the serving entity at each point.
- Unset Color. When the
Probability Coloring property is set to "Threshold", this color is used to
mark areas that are below the Probability Threshold.
