The purpose of an Entity Labeling is to produce a label for a given Site or Sector for display on the map. They are used when drawing labels for the Site Marker and Sector Marker maps.

Accessing The Entity Labeling Collection

You can access the set of entity colorings associated with your project from the Mapping > Map Layers > Entity Coloring menu option:

Types of Entity Labeling

The following types of entity labeling are available:

  • Channel. The label for a Sector is taken from its linked Radio. The label for a Site is composed from the labels of all sectors on the site.
  • Custom. The label is computed by executing a script.
  • Name. The name of the entity is used as the label.
  • Radio Flag. The label for a Sector is taken from the value of the specified Flag of the linked Radio. The label for a Site is composed from the labels of all sectors on the site.
  • Sector Flag. The label for a Sector is taken from the value of the specified Flag. The label for a Site is composed from the labels of all sectors on the site.
  • Site Flag. The label for a Sector is taken from the value of the specified Flag of the parent Site. The label for a Site is taken from the value of the specified Flag.
