The Parameter Optimization module installs several new pages in the Start Page. You can reach the Neighbor Planning page by first clicking on Optimization:

Then click on Parameter Optimization:

Finally, click on Neighbor Planning:

You can access all the main functions of the neighbor planner from here. The available actions are described here. If you need to adjust any of the neighbor planner's parameters, you can click on the Properties button .

Editing a Neighbor Plan

Further down the page you will find the Editing section:

This lets you connect or disconnect neighbor relations using the selected set of radios.

The Connect Selected Radios button adds neighbor relations to the selected radios to link them all up. For example, suppose we have three radios in our network and that we have selected all of them. Clicking this button will assign the following neighbor lists:

• A: B, C
• B: A, C
• C: A, B

The Disconnect Selected Radios button removes neighbor relations from the selected radios. For example, suppose we have three radios in our network with the neighbor plan above. If we select B and C and click this button, the resulting neighbor plan will look like this:

• A: B, C
• B: A
• C: A

This is, C has been removed from B's list, and B has been removed from C's list.

The Select All Radios button simply selects every radio in your project.
