Geo Data
in Overture is a data set where the value at each location represents a probability.
The coverage probability is good example of this type of geo data.
Probability geo data can be used to help with a variety of RF planning tasks in
Overture. You can map any probability geo data source by adding a probability map.
You can also convert probability data sources into other geo data types by using
various geo data transformers.
In Overture, the coverage probability component is a probability geo data source.
You can access the collection of probability geo data providers in your project
from the
menu option:
Add A New Probability Geo Data Component
The easiest way to add a new geo data component is to add a map and create a new
component to point it at.
From the
Start Page,
select Maps and then add a new map using the Add button
Select Probability Map then the Data Source property.
Click the Edit List... button to edit the list
of all geo data providers of this type.
Then choose the required component type from the list of options in the Add drop-down.
