Numeric Geo Data in Overture is a data set where the value at each location is a number.

Numeric geo data can be used to help with a variety of RF planning tasks in Overture. You can map any numerical geo data source by adding a numerical map. You can also convert numerical data sources into other geo data types by using various geo data transformers.

Numeric geo data providers can be used to mask Statistic Data Providers. The numeric values at each location are multiplied with the value from the data provider at the same location. This can be used to mask out areas from the statistics (i.e., the numeric provider would be configured to serve up 0 or 1 values), or to boost the values in particular locations.

You can access the collection of numerical geo data providers in your project from the Mapping > Geo Data > Numeric > Edit List menu option:

Accessing the Numeric geo data collection

Add A New Numeric Geo Data Component

The easiest way to add a new geo data component is to add a map and create a new component to point it at.

From the Start Page, select Maps and then add a new map using the Add button

Select Numeric Map then the Data Source property. Click the Edit List... button to edit the list of all geo data providers of this type.

Then choose the required component type from the list of options in the Add drop-down.
