A Statistic Data Provider provides the input data for a
Statistic.
The same statistic data provider can be used by more than one statistic.
Accessing the Statistic Data Provider collection
You can access the set of statistic data providers from the
Start Page,
by first clicking on Analysis:
Then click on Statistics:
This will show you the statistics sub page. Scrolling down will bring the statistic
data provider section into view:

Types of Statistic Data Provider
There are several different types of statistic data provider. The available types
can be seen if you select the Add button:
These types are detailed below:
- Area Cover. This reports the served area according to a specified
Cover Model
and
Terminal.
You can also apply an optional
Mask.
- Area Total. This reports the total area in the
Analysis Region.
You can also apply an optional
Mask.
- Numeric Cover. This reports the coverage of a specified
Density
data source, according to a specified
Cover Model
and
Terminal.
You can also apply an optional
Mask.
- Numeric Total. This reports the sum total of the specified
Density
data source across the
Analysis Region.
You can also apply an optional
Mask.
- Points. This takes a
Point
data source and uses it as the input to a statistic. You must specify which column
of the point provider to use. The Collation
property specifies whether the point values should be summed (Accumulate,
the point data values must be numerical), or if they should be counted (Tally).
- Sectors. This is a special case of the "Points" data provider type above,
where the
Sector
locations are used as the input.
- Service Cover. This reports the coverage of a specified
Service
according to a particular
Cover Model.

- Service Total. This reports the sum total of the specified
Service
across the
Analysis Region.

- Sites. This is a special case of the "Points" data provider type above, where
the
Site
locations are used as the input.
